For 30 years, Tim Samaras devoted his life to documenting the world's most powerful storms. On Friday, in Oklahoma, he found himself in the path of another powerful tornado. But this time, he didn't make it out. The twister took the lives of Mr. Samaras, his 24-year-old son, and another storm chaser. Eleven others were also killed. Chris Chittick is a professional storm chaser and was a friend of Tim Samaras, who was tracking the same deadly tornado as Mr. Samaras.
